Hey guys! So thanksgiving is a great holiday, but I would like to say some things I'm thankful for. Now to jump right into it, I'm thankful for my family, friends, and the ocean. You see, if this topic was like favorite food I would play around with it, but since it's about something serious, I'll be serious.
First of all, I'm thankful First of all, I'm thankful for my family. For example, not only do they feed me and look after me, but also their always there to lift me up. Like when I have a hard time with math, they look at it and try to help me. Most of the time they don’t get it, but in the little bits of time they go over the steps to help me understand. I guess you could say that if I had to describe my family in one word, it would be helpful.
Secondly, I am super thankful for my friends. They just bring smiles to my face and give me laughter. "Friends are hard to find, but the very best friend is mine." This quote means so much to me, but I think more deeper into it. For instance, I think of a little kid just searching to see if there's anyone out there to be his friend. But, what he didn't notice was that he had people standing just around the corner waiting for him. It's like how we think that we're alone. We are not alone, at all. There will always be someone out there, and that's why I'm thankful for the friends I have.
Lastly, I'm thankful for the ocean. I know this might not be a major one to you, but it is to me. The ocean makes me feel clam and not stressed, or nervous for exmas, or pretty much just everyday life challenges. Riding the waves on my surfboard makes me feel like I'm walking on water. It's an incredible feeling that I'm thankful for. I couldn't imagine living life without the ocean and it's beautiful impact on our Earth.
To conclude, I love Thanksgining because it's a time to really celebrate what we're thankful for. And it's good to say what we're thankful for, because it really shows us how big of an impact it's made on our lives. That's what I noticed and want to keep noticing. Well, thanks for reading my blog. Bye!
