Hi everyone, so this week I want to introduce you guys to Helga! Just kidding, her real name is Liza Koshy and she's this really awesome Youtuber. She has a lot of good traits about her, such as, her humor, camera presence, and how she connects with her viewers. Besides from all this, she also has really good camera work. Some of the shots may be shaky, but that's the style. Also, she has good sequencing. For example, she makes her shots so clean and smooth, it takes all the shaky shots away. You may be wondering, "Who is David?" David Dobrik is Liza Koshy's boyfriend/ Youtuber. He's also super famous and has a channel of his own. Lastly, Liza's camera presence is amazing. She knows what to say and do to entertain the audience and make them laugh so hard, they get a stomach ach. She's like a combination of all different kinds of youtubers. She's serious and knows when to loosen up. It's really interesting! Well that's all for this week, BYE!!!
Hey guys, so this week I'm going to be showing you an awesome movie trailer. Now I really want to see this movie and here's three reasons why. First of all, my favorite actors and actresses are in it, which means that this movie will be extra cool to me. The actress also was nominated for a golden globe award. That's a pretty big thing. Secondly, the shots are super nice. To explain, a lot of movies have interesting shots, but this movie has such great lighting and the shots are so clean. Like I can see freckles on the main characters face from just 1 one. Last but not least, the story is breathtaking. Just how the directors put it together was so well thought and amazing. I'm definitely looking forward to watching this movie. That's all for this week, BYE!!!
This video is goals and here's three reasons why. Let's start off with how one person is creating these three different characters, acting each one of them, then editing them all in. It's pretty amazing that she can do that and make it look so funny and cool. Also, her shots look pretty impressive in all the angles that she films. She makes it look so easy and clean. And her acting blends right into it, a long with her audio. A cool fact is that she did this all in one day. But she said that her camera died half way through, which made it hard to finsih her goal. The epic thing is that it didn't seem like she was having struggles by watching the video. Well, there are a lot of amazing youtubers and this is only one of them. Stay tuned for future blogs! Bye!
Hey everyone! So I'm so excited for the blog topic this weekend. It's about my favorite holiday. Now, it's pretty much a no-brainer, that my favorite holiday is Christmas. It just brings me joy and it really brings everyone's spirit up! Here's three reasons why!
To start off with, Christmas represents celebration of Jesus Christ. Every Christmas Eve I go to a banquet service at my church. Here we do worship and celebrate how God was resurrected. It's pretty special and it really makes a place in my heart, because I feel like this holiday is just full of Celebrations to celebrate world wide. Also, ever since I was little I always had a tradition to sing to God every christmas night with my family.
Secondly, I love seeing all my family. To explain, all my cousins live in other part of the world and it's hard catching up with them. So every christmas they fly over and celebrate with us. We go to the beach, camp, and just have family time getting to know eachother better. I would have to say that this is probably my most memorable moments from christams and it's an amzing feeling. It's like a little chick joining with all her little brothers and sisters.
Last but not least, christmas means PRESENTS! No, I'm just kidding. For me, it's not really about the size of the present, or how much it cost, but about the value it puts in my heart. For example, the christmas before my Nana passed away she gave me a necklace that she wore when she was a flight attendant. Now I hang it up to remind me of how hard she worked everyday to pay for her family, and the rough journeys she had to go through. It inspired me to be a more thoughtful person and to really see the amazing adventures we can take in this world.
Christmas is a holiday that we should all love, and it really doesn't matter what reason why, because there's just so much to love about this holiday. These blogs really help to share my feelings and I hope you think about what you love most about Christams. That's all for this week! Bye!!!
Hey guys! So thanksgiving is a great holiday, but I would like to say some things I'm thankful for. Now to jump right into it, I'm thankful for my family, friends, and the ocean. You see, if this topic was like favorite food I would play around with it, but since it's about something serious, I'll be serious.
First of all, I'm thankful First of all, I'm thankful for my family. For example, not only do they feed me and look after me, but also their always there to lift me up. Like when I have a hard time with math, they look at it and try to help me. Most of the time they don’t get it, but in the little bits of time they go over the steps to help me understand. I guess you could say that if I had to describe my family in one word, it would be helpful.
Secondly, I am super thankful for my friends. They just bring smiles to my face and give me laughter. "Friends are hard to find, but the very best friend is mine." This quote means so much to me, but I think more deeper into it. For instance, I think of a little kid just searching to see if there's anyone out there to be his friend. But, what he didn't notice was that he had people standing just around the corner waiting for him. It's like how we think that we're alone. We are not alone, at all. There will always be someone out there, and that's why I'm thankful for the friends I have.
Lastly, I'm thankful for the ocean. I know this might not be a major one to you, but it is to me. The ocean makes me feel clam and not stressed, or nervous for exmas, or pretty much just everyday life challenges. Riding the waves on my surfboard makes me feel like I'm walking on water. It's an incredible feeling that I'm thankful for. I couldn't imagine living life without the ocean and it's beautiful impact on our Earth.
To conclude, I love Thanksgining because it's a time to really celebrate what we're thankful for. And it's good to say what we're thankful for, because it really shows us how big of an impact it's made on our lives. That's what I noticed and want to keep noticing. Well, thanks for reading my blog. Bye!
This vidio is so AWESOME. Casey Neistat is so hilarious and so smart. But, he has his moments. It's all good though because he still creates an amzing video in the end. One of the things I learned in this long video, is how he vlogs in differnt areas and makes it look so smooth. I tried vlogging in different spots, but it didn't work. So I thought that maybe that's his thing. We all have special things we bring to the table, but Casey really brings the whole package, it's pretty cool. Another thing I noticed is his clear shots. For instance, his lighting really makes the video look clean and I don't know how he finds all these awesome spots for vlogging. It normally takes me about 20 minutes to find the perfect spot, and see what I'm going to use to set it up. Well that's all for this week. Bye!
Hi guys, so this week. I saw such a sick video that I had to share with you guys. There's 3 main things that I love from this edit. To begin with, I love the 360 shots and how they use them in so many different locations. Like Matahi was surfing, it was such a clear and perfect shot. One thing I really want to try is being able to do these shots. Secondly, the editing goes so smoothly. For example, the transitions with the fade is so nice, and you can really tell that it goes a long with the song. That's the hard thing about edits, is if you have a beat drop then your video has to connect with the beat drop. Lastly, do you ever see something, then want to go try it instantly? Because, seeing this video really made me want to go out and surf, film, and explore nature. It's just one of those inspiring videos. Well, that concludes my free blog choice. BYE!!!
Hey guys, so this week for my assigned topic I will be giving you a project update on my 2nd quarter news story. It's going good so far, me and my partner have been working on it. And it's turning out nice. The only three things we have to work on is getting one more interview, our 5 points, and script.
First of all, all we need is just one more interview. For example, right now we have 5 and I need six because I feel that the more interviews we have, the more stronger our story will be. Our project is on Kuga, and how it offers troubled kids such a positive environment to grow up in. So far I have, the owner of the company, 2 students, and 2 dance instructors. My last interview will be a parent. What I'm going to do about it is schedule an interview sometime this weekend hopefully because our scripts are due this Friday.
Secondly, we are almost done with our 5 points. To explain, each story you have to have a topic, but sometimes in that topic you will have multiple angles. Like, my story is about Kuga, but it's also about how it started, what it does for kids, and what it provides to the community. The cool thing about doing a news story is that you can discover so many different things. Due to my script being do this Friday I'm working hard to get these 5 Points done.
Last but not least, I need to get my script done. It's basically all about teamwork and working with your partner to have a good project. It's definitely stressful and nerve-wracking because you don't want to let the other one down, but you know that you can succeed if you have good conversation and the right relationship. To get this done I am planning on finishing transcribing, so I can get my 5 Points down and move onto my script. I hope that with my partner I can get are deadlines on time.
To conclude up, this year had many ups and downs, but that doesn't mean I can't still try my best. I'm going to work hard and try to get this project the best I can. And to be the best partner and mentor I possibly can. Stay tuned for my next blog! Bye!!!!
